Hi Maureen,
I really can't understand why Ian didn't answer my email. I don't think he would have given his response on air. I didn't expect him to get into a long dialogue, but he could have said that the story had caused problems, or my fears were groundless. At least we still wouldn't be speculating. You can't imagine how guilty I feel, as I was the first person to bring Ian into the story. At that time he took it as a compliment.

Ian's decision to close the blog seemed to occur at the time when he said he would read our story. By then we had written several presenters into the story. Their role was to send out pleas for help, when two of the characters went missing off the Holy Island coast. Maybe one or more of them objected to being mentioned in a story on Ian's Blog?

I don't feel I can express my feelings so openly on the Truckshunters' Blog, especially if it's still under scrutiny. I don't want to make matters worse for Ian, but equally, how can we support him when we are being kept in the dark?

I'm happy for Truckshunters to use this blog if we can't continue with Ian. I understand Loz's view that we should carry on regardless, but which is the better option for Ian?

Hi Maureen,

I don't know whether you've kept an email link to my blog, so I hope you can read my responses. I've just deleted my original comment from Ian's blog. I didn't really want Ian to read my complaints and hoped he wouldn't be around over the Bank Holiday to read the blog. No-one else appears to have come over to read my blog, so I may delete my posting eventually.
